yeah, obama datang ke kampus UI tercinta! dan banyak yang merayakannya dengan euforia berlebihan...

buat gw biasa aja sih, bukan sini atau apa, tapi jangan lupain dan jangan naif deh, Amerika tetaplah Amerika. gw ga bilang Obama itu buruk atau apa...(mungkin) Obama baik, tapi sekali lagi jangan naif, yang 'menjalankan' Amerika itu bukan Obama.

jangan lupain Yahudi ultra-konservatif yang selama ini lobi-lobi politiknya sangat kuat disana. juga sama para republikan yang sangat haus kekuasaan, terutama para neo-konservatif...walopun sekarang dari Demokrat yang mimpin, tetep aja yang namanya sutradara itu ga pernah keliatan di depan layar, kecuali ada bonus the making of-nya...

nampaknya terlihat sekali Obama berusaha merangkul simpati umat Islam terbesar di dunia ini...jika benar-benar ingin seperti itu, tidaklah cukup hanya dengan mengucapkan Assalamualaikum sebagai pembuka pidato...

selesaikanlah dengan benar, konflik Palestina-Israel...bantu Palestina membuka blokade-blokade yang dilakukan Israel...konkrit

Bethany Cosentino dan Bobb Bruno mungkin lebih dikenal dengan project mereka "Pocahaunted", yang warna musiknya lebih ke arah Drone/Psych, namun di project terbaru mereka, Best Coast, mereka mengambil langkah yang sama sekali berbeda dengan Pocahaunted. dengan Best Coast, mereka benar-benar membuat musik noise-pop yang ringan, dengan jurus 3 Chords seperti kebnyakan band-band punk rock, lirik yang sangat lugas dan simple, dan kadang terkesan seperti ABG-ABG yang baru putus cinta dan melarikan diri ke musik rock. coba bayangkan suasana, pergi ke pantai bersama 3 temanmu yang lain, pakai baju renang atau bikini or whatever, kenakan sunblock, jangan lupa kacamata Ray-Ban yang sekarang kembali menjadi hype, berkaleng-kaleng bir dingin, alas tidur, berjemur bersama teman-teman, sambil membicarakan patah hati dan sekaligus menertawakannya, diiringi dengan surf-rock ala Beach Boys, atau rock n rollnya Beatles dari tape mobilmu yang belum stereo itu...maka kamu akan mendapatkan Best Coast - Crazy For .
